Gyslaine Pachet Micheneau

Born in 1960 in a small village in Charente-Maritime, France, Gyslaine Pachet Micheneau has always been deeply drawn to painting, especially landscapes and themes connected to spirituality. She lives and works near Tours, France.

A self-taught artist, she refined her artistic practice in 1997 at the studio of watercolorist Anne Frigière in Pernay, where nature became her primary source of inspiration. She sketches and paints directly from life using ink, charcoal and watercolor before developing her compositions in acrylic or oil on canvas in her studio.

Passionate about human connection, Gyslaine often paints outdoors in art markets and artists’ villages, allowing her to engage directly with the public. She is a member of La Maison des Artistes and the association Art, Sciences et Lettres.

Over the years, her artistic journey has evolved toward more symbolic and spiritual subjects, notably through works inspired by the history of the Knights Templar and the heritage of her region.

Her work has been exhibited regularly in salons and galleries in France, Switzerland and Brussels. She also participates in family exhibitions alongside her son Ludovic, who shares the same passion for painting, while her husband contributes through photography — making art a true family adventure.

Tatyana Palchuk

Tatyana Palchuk is a contemporary painter working within a refined tradition of academic realism, often described as a “New Renaissance” approach.

Her work draws on centuries-old European painting techniques while expressing a deeply humanistic and emotional vision of the world. Palchuk creates complex compositions that merge figurative storytelling with symbolic detail, where every element—human, animal, or object—forms part of a larger “theatre of life.”

Working primarily in oil on linen, she develops each painting through an intensive process: compositions are first fully conceived and drawn before being carefully transferred to canvas. This method results in highly structured, harmonious works that reflect both technical mastery and philosophical depth.

Her paintings explore themes of unity between humanity and nature, emotion, and the interconnectedness of all living things. Influenced by early Renaissance masters as well as modern figures such as Picasso, Miró, and Dalí, Palchuk’s work bridges historical tradition and contemporary sensibility.

Through luminous colour, intricate detail, and layered narratives, her works invite prolonged viewing, revealing new meanings over time and offering a sense of calm, warmth, and reflection.
